Introduction and purpose
 Tobacco smoke is a major health concern globally. Due to tobacco epidemic, approximately 8 million people died as result of cigarette smoking in 2020 alone, where 1.2 were caused by non-smokers inhaling second-hand smoke. Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) an inflammatory condition that has significant economic impact worldwide. Despite its great burden on the health-care system patients' quality life, variety therapy options for CRS currently limited. Tobacco-induced biofilm formation may contribute refractory nature many respiratory diseases reported smokers smokers, due increased resistance antibiotics. The aim this study present exposure household passive induce nasal biofilms.
 Brief description state knowledge
 bacterial infections involving biofilms have recently been recognised factor pathogenesis. presence mucosa patients associated with more severe pre-operative disease, persistent postoperative symptoms, ongoing mucosal inflammation, following endoscopic sinus surgery. because immunosuppressive irritating effects sinonasal epithelial cells. Smoking uptake cessation shown affect microbial communities, having not just distinct but also higher frequency possible pathogens those communities.
